Summer Protests

Since the winter of 2017, Romanians fight against SDP, the former communist party, also known as The Red Plague. This anti-democratic party is trying to modify the laws so that its members can get rid of the trials they have and continue to steal with no problems. They thought that by bribing their supporters it will be much easier, but they had a big surprise when hundreds of thousands of Romanians started to protest. Some of them are on the streets day by day. In the meantime, their corrupt leader, Liviu Dragnea, was sentenced in a first court to 3 years and 6 months of prison. He already was sentenced a few years ago to one year of prison with suspension. Despite this, he still is the president of the party in power and the president of the Romanian Senate.
