On the 30th of October more than 40 young people died in a fire while they were attending a rock concert in the “Colectiv” club. This is a result of a wide range of corruption, incompetence, greed and indifference. The tragic event changed the Romanian attitude, maybe because they realized that not all the time they can avoid the blows of destiny. Protests have started all over the country, the prime minister, accused of money laundering, tax evasion and plagiarism, being finally forced to step down. Now, more than one week later, the protests still continue all over the country, the Romanian society demanding a new political class and a new political system based on honesty and competence.
